ONLINE & SOCIAL MEDIA When you’re considering your social media presence, it’s a good idea to think about not only the time, energy, and manpower that you’ll need to commit to sharing on social media but also about the content.
What I’ve learned is that it’s important to not wait too long between posts, sure once a week is ok but don't drop off for months after you start your Instagram or Facebook page... A great way to stay active online is to repackage and repost articles you have found/read and that including engaging images have a huge effect! If you are using a Facebook profile (not a business page) keep a more personal tone but beware not to show off your dinner every night unless of course you run a catering service or restaurant! If you do offer a service it is better to use your personal profile since it is you, that your customers and clients are connecting with, not a faceless page. :) FILL OUT MY SOCIAL MEDIA QUESTIONNAIRE TO GET TO KNOW WHAT YOU NEED. And, if you like, submit it to me for my personalized pricing. Please see my pricing page for more information

ADVERTISING & DESIGN
Advertising is an audio or visual form of marketing communication that employs an openly sponsored, non-personal message to promote or sell a product, service or idea. Sponsors of advertising are often businesses wishing to promote their products or services.
Graphic Design is about more than the skill of combining text and pictures in advertisements, magazines, or logos.
Graphic Design applies to posters, brochures and menu's, to trade show banners, invitations, signage and also package design.
In the digital world too, from websites, to enewsletters and web ads.
Brochures/flyers: provide more information about you and your product/service, what makes you different from your competition and why to buy from you. Usually 8.5" x 11" (a letter size sheet) folded in half or thirds. (a rack card is a single item a third the size) which might be handed out, placed at point of purchase areas, inserted into a newspaper, menu, magazine or digitally emailed.
Posters: Public place or private workplace posters and flyers are usually informational in nature. They can used to affirm positive behaviours or draw people to an event. Just remember the front of your flyer or poster should send a message at a glance! People walking by or standing and getting a snap shot of your message often will engage you viewer to look for more information at the time or online!
Postcards: A good idea when businesses move. Why? A card often remains in view much longer than an email message. Once it is in a hand it has to be dealt with where an email can be overlooked by busy customers/clients intending to read the message later.
