I am often reading and learning about trends as well as recommendations from others. What I’ve learned is that once you get started it’s important to not wait too long between posts.
You're busy with your business but it's a good tool to connect so a great way to stay active online is to repackage and repost articles and that engaging images have a huge effect! If you are using a Facebook profile (not a business page) keep a more personal tone but beware of showing off your dinner every night unless of course you run a catering service or restaurant!  If you do offer a service it is better I have read to use your profile since it is you your customers and clients are connecting with not a faceless page.

If you are able videos are great for engagement. Stats say that video Facebook posts get a higher average engagement than photos or links on Facebook or LinkedIn.  Plus, Twitter videos are six times more likely to be retweeted than photos and three times more likely to be retreated than GIFs.
